As the curtains closed on 2023, our team reflected on a year filled with accomplishments, collaborations, and good memories. From the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Ontario to the vibrant cityscape of St. Louis, Longitude had the privilege of working on diverse and inspiring projects. In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at some of the standout moments and projects that defined Longitude’s journey in 2023.
Oliver Hospitality Management Collaboration
In the early part of 2023, Longitude embarked on a thrilling journey with Oliver Hospitality Management (OHM). The successful rebranding of the Lodge at Marconi stands as a testament to the collaborative spirit shared between Longitude and the OHM team. From the initial site tour to the project’s completion, the journey was nothing short of a joyous adventure.
Grand Opening of 21c Museum Hotel in St. Louis
During the late summer of 2023, Longitude proudly celebrated the grand opening of the 21c Museum Hotel in St. Louis. Tasked with developing the branding for three distinct entities within the property – Idol Wolf restaurant, Good Press cafe, and Locust St. Athletic and Swim club – Longitude played a key role in creating a unique and cohesive identity for this cultural hub.
Project Kickoff & Site Tour in Northern Ontario
The Fall of 2023 marked the kickoff of a project in the pristine landscapes of Northern Ontario. Longitude, working with an exceptional real estate development group in Canada, had the privilege of exploring the remote areas of Northern Ontario, setting the stage for a project that promises exciting outcomes soon.
Grand Opening of The Ozarker Lodge in Branson, MO
July 2023 was a momentous occasion for Longitude, as partners Dustin Myers and Jeremy Wells proudly opened The Ozarker Lodge in Branson, MO. This independent boutique hotel marked Longitude’s entry into hotel ownership, representing months of dedicated effort from the entire team and signaling an exciting new chapter in the world of hospitality.
Acceptance of “Best Independent Hotel” Award
A pinnacle moment for Longitude occurred as they accepted the “Best Independent Hotel” award from the Independent Lodging Congress in San Francisco, CA on behalf of The Ozarker Lodge. This prestigious honor, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, recognizes The Ozarker Lodge’s exceptional contribution to the independent hotel industry and solidifies Longitude’s commitment to excellence. Acquisition of Boutique Hotel in Parker, CO
As 2023 drew to a close, Longitude, in partnership with Eagle Point Hotel Partners, acquired the upscale boutique hotel, Ascent on Main, in Parker, CO. With 51 rooms and ambitious plans in the pipeline, this acquisition symbolizes Longitude’s commitment to creating unique guest experiences.
“Joining the Pack” with Great Wolf Lodge
In the summer of 2023, Longitude achieved a significant milestone by becoming Great Wolf Lodge’s branding agency of record for its upcoming brand initiatives. This exciting partnership positions Longitude at the forefront of crafting compelling narratives for one of the most beloved names in family entertainment.
Farewell, 2023…
As Longitude bids farewell to 2023, the year will no doubt be one to remember. With a growing portfolio of diverse projects and exciting partnerships, Longitude (and our sister company Flyover Developments) anticipate many more adventures and opportunities that lie ahead for us in 2024.
