Flat Creek Restaurant is truly a taste of the Ozarks. With two locations in Republic, MO and Cape Fair, MO, they’ve become one of the area’s most beloved family dining options. Their robust menu, large dining rooms, and the top-notch staff make this truly a destination restaurant.
While the incredible food and service have helped them grow their brand over the years, their online presence was severely lacking. Inconsistencies throughout online listing sites, their social media pages, and their website were causing confusion and frustration for customers — and the owners Joshua Rassmussen and Alan Kram. For this reason, Longitude° was asked to help them step-up their social game, and we were happy to do so.

Monthly Planning & Content Scheduling
Planning the content schedule each month is an important piece of our social media engagement plans for restaurants. During these meetings, we plan LTOS, menu features, special events, and other features that should be highlighted in the months to come. After the content is planned, we put it into a content calendar and begin creating the assets required to fill the social media feed with high-quality content.
Building an Asset Library
Over time, we are building and curating an asset library of high-quality images, videos, and advertisements. These are purposefully designed in order to maintain a consistent identity and voice for every unique brand we work with.
This asset library plays a very important role in our social media packages because without high-quality, engaging visuals it’s very difficult to create engagement that will build your brand.
90-Day Social Growth
Customer Database Opt-ins
Within the first 90-days of our engagement, we were able to increase some key social metrics for the client, and they experienced a noticeable increase in their revenue, despite being in the midst of a pandemic.
The posts were a great mixture of highly engaging, thoughtful, and brand-building copywriting and creative. Many restaurants get stuck in a rut of simply sharing food pictures every day, and while food pictures are important so is showing the life behind the food.
We also supported our client with the Promotable Engine™ offered by our sister agency, Promotable Media. This allowed us to build a customer database with rich customer data — making it easy to remarket to them in the future. As this database continually grows, the value of owning this customer data increases exponentially. Within the first 90 days, we added 3,689 new customers to their database, and it’s growing daily.

Reputation management for restaurants is something that cannot be pushed aside, yet many restaurants don’t spend the proper time and effort in cultivating and managing their online reputation.
After all, most restaurant owners or managers are busy running the restaurant; they don’t have time to sit down and respond to every review or comment on their social media pages, and online listings like Yelp, Trip Advisor, and Google.
