Lake S’mores Resort + Spa is a new hospitality concept rooted in the hills of Kentucky, blending boutique luxury with immersive nature, wellness, and multi-generational experiences. The opportunity was to create a brand that could stand apart from both rustic glamping and overly formal luxury—something more grounded, more human, and more connected.

We led a full brand strategy process focused on defining a clear position in the market and building a brand around how the experience should feel, not just how it should look. Through positioning, guest personas, messaging, and experience strategy, we uncovered a core truth: guests aren’t just looking for a place to stay—they’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel something real.

This insight led to a simple but powerful idea: luxury in nature that feels like coming home. A shift away from “impressive” hospitality toward something more personal, warm, and emotionally resonant.

We shaped the brand around a set of guiding principles—connection, comfort, play, and stillness—creating a tone that feels welcoming, soulful, and intentional. The brand avoids the extremes of DIY glamping and performative luxury, instead offering a more balanced, design-forward experience rooted in ease and authenticity.
